It is with mixed emotions that we are announcing the closure of
Austin Women MDs effective August 31, 2008.
It has been a great pleasure providing for your health care needs over the years, and it is not easy for us to close our doors. We have greatly valued our relationship and thank you for your loyalty and friendship. We wish you all the best in the future.
As of September 1, 2008, Dr. Sheila Parekh will be joining Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) in Cedar Park. We are pleased that you have the opportunity to continue care with Dr. Parekh at this location. You will be receiving a letter of introduction from ARC with information on the clinic and further contact information.
Dr. Enzie Briskey will be leaving outpatient clinical practice to pursue an exciting opportunity as an Ob/Gyn Hospitalist with North Austin Medical Center. Dr. Briskey encourages her patients to continue to receive excellent care with her partner, Dr. Sheila Parekh.
Your Medical Records are confidential. A copy can be transferred to another doctor or released to you or another person you designate only through your permission.
If you plan to continue or transfer care to Dr. Parekh at ARC, no action is needed on your part. Your records will already be available at that location.
If you choose to see a different physician, please sign the authorization form and return it to our office as soon as possible so we may transfer your records to your new physician.
Whether you are a patient of Dr. Briskey or Dr. Parekh, if you choose not to continue care with Dr. Parekh, we recommend looking for a new physician as soon as possible. You may contact the Travis County Medical Society (http://www.tcms.com) who can give you the names of doctors in the area or you may contact your insurance provider. |
